Welcome to our site, Cult-SciFi.com!
We hope you will join us on our journey through the worlds of cult sci fi and fantasy (horror as well). These genres have long had their cult followings, both large and small, and we celebrate them all. The Oxford Dictionary gives the following definition for the word “cult” which is pertinent to way that we are using it here:
And while cult followings are considered to be small and selective, the sci fi and fantasy genres have become quite popular over the last half century or so which means that some of these can have a really large following. At this site, we will try to focus on movies, TV shows, books, and more that may not be as well known or that have slipped off the radar. But we will give some attention to the bigger names as well. Basically, anything that sci fi and fantasy fans are passionate about is fair game here.
We have over a year’s worth of posts under our belts so far, and we will keep adding more. We also welcome your suggestions and comments (and we will consider submissions as well). Stay tuned as we continue on our journey through cult sci fi and fantasy, and please spread the word so that others can enjoy the site as well.

Hope it all works out, I’m a regular visitor to Cancelled Sci Fi, and will try to pop by here as well. As someone involved in a few sites with some common interests, I recognise how hard it is getting a distinct voice and maintaining it longer term.
I will be happy to mention your site and would love it if you mention mine to your readers. Also, feel free to post and participate at r/SciFiScroll and r/SciFiTV
Thanks! I do try to link back whenever I quite any post, and give the name as well
Ok, so I also came here from Cancelled Sci Fi, and this web site is also right up my alley. But … I don’t see a way to subscribe to (new) posts? That might have been an issue for me wth the old Sci Fi TV web site too, can’t remember. I have just watched all of these series:
UFO
The Prisoner
Black Mirror
Altered Carbon
(I had seen UFO before, but all the others were new to me.)
And I have Space: 1999 on my list, as well as Starlost, and the original Star Trek. I’ve seen all those before too, but I want to rewatch them. (Also just watched Picard, and I’m newly caught up with Strange New Worlds too.) A suggestion for this web site is: Star Cops. An amazingly written old show that never got the visibility it should have. Nicely layered nuanced storytelling.
Still ramping this site up, but will get the subscription option up there soon.
Ok, JJ is JJ. 😁 Thank you!
